"Age 60 / Height 181cm / Weight 86.4kg, 2 DVT’s under my belt, life had to change drastically so I joined the gym, enlisted the help of a Personal Trainer, Cindy Morom and never looked back.
So began my journey towards a new self-image, training 3 times a week with Cindy the sessions are at times challenging but with perseverance excellent results have emerged. I have dropped 2 dress sizes 18/14 and weigh in at 82.6kg (ideal weight 79.2kg) my BMI is within the acceptable range of 25.2 kicking off at 26.4 and to top it all I have shed cm’s in all the right places.
Before I joined the gym, food and drink were my mantra, I did not take a keen interest in myself, lacked self-confidence, loathed the skin I was in, needless to say this lifestyle took its toll and the outcome was not a pretty one.
The gym is not an option it’s the best place for me to be and I enjoy it immensely.
People I have met are astounded that I am 61, and think I’m 50ish now if that doesn’t instil self-confidence nothing will. "
